Jadore Invisible Tape Extensions

Our extensive range of tape hair extension applications sets us apart from many of our competitors in the industry. This has let us provide our clients with exactly what they want. Our skin weft hair extensions are the same as the tape method; they are applied like a sandwich (the natural hair is positioned between two extension pieces). We have a variety of hair extensions such as Remy Indian hair extensions and Remy Russian hair extensions. Our wholesale Indian hair extensions can be purchased online but can also be retailed. Our skin weft hair extensions are far better than the standard tape extensions. They are hand tied to create the appearance that the hair is directly growing from the scalp. In this way, you do not get the shiny tape extension show through like the traditional method. This also significantly minimises the risk of heating up the bonding glues, which can be damaging. This is a very compatible method for all hair types of different lengths. We make use of an advanced compound that can be easily removed by our gentle removal spray.

Q. How long will my clip in hair extensions last?

A: At Jadore our extensions are made from 100% high-quality Remy hair. If you take proper care of your clip in hair extensions, they could last for up to a year. It’s really up to you!

Q. Does my natural hair have to be a certain length?

A. In most cases, if you have slightly short hair or shoulder length hair you should have no problem using clip in extensions.

Q. How much time does it take to apply clip in extensions?

A: The more you familiarise yourself with clip ins, the quicker you'll get at applying them. With some practice, it shouldn't take more than five minutes to apply and about one minute to remove them! You will get detailed instructions when you purchase your clip in set.

Q. How often should I wash my hair?

A. You can wash your clip in extensions just as you would your natural hair.

Q. Will anyone know I am wearing extensions?

A. Choosing the right curl and colour pattern is important. No one should be able to tell that you have hair extensions. With the right application, you'll know they are there but no one else will.

Q. How should I wash them?

A. The best way to wash your extensions is to wash your hair in the same direction; from the top to the bottom. Refrain from washing your hair in the sink. Use shampoos and conditioners for dry hair as they will add the most moisture to your extensions.

Q. How do I brush and blow dry my skin weft extensions?

A. When brushing your hair, ensure that you start from the bottom and work your way up while holding the top part to keep it from stretching. For wavy and curly textures you may not want to brush them out because they can get frizzy. Let this type of hair air dry.

Q. How do I sleep with my skin weft hair extensions?

A. Make sure that you brush your extensions every night before you go to bed. We suggest putting up your extensions in a straight plait or a loose bun before going to sleep.

The Hair

If you’re considering weft hair extensions for a client, here are a few commonly asked questions that will provide you with some basic information.

Why choose weft hair extensions?

With Jadore 100 percent Remy weft extensions, you can instantly transform your client’s hairstyle, creating volume and length easily. Our Remy hair extensions are made from real human hair that has not been altered or chemical processed, which creates a natural new look. In addition, choosing weft hair extensions allows your natural hair to grow and gives it a rest from the damaging effect of heating tools.

What are machine weft extensions?

Machine weft extensions are the most common method you will find. This makes them extremely popular with clients, providing strong and secure hair extensions for luscious long locks. The Remy hair has been sewn into a weft and is suitable for most hair types, except for those clients with very fine or thin hair. These wefts can be cut to fit the individual wearer’s head shape and size.

What are hand tied weft hair extensions?

Hand tied weft hair extensions are excellent for creating volume and length for those clients with thin and fine hair. This Remy hair can be sewn on to a braid for attachment to the client’s scalp, and no one will know they are wearing hair extensions. This type of weft will usually come pre-cut into smaller pieces as they cannot be cut without shedding occuring.

What are skin weft hair extensions?

Skin weft hair extensions, also known as invisible tape extensions are a lightweight and invisible way to create a fuller and longer hairstyle. The hair is in polyurethane tape, which sits close to the scalp and blends in to look completely natural. With strong adhesive tape, the Remy hair sits securely in place, and clients can enjoy a beautiful transformation.

What are the benefits of Remy hair in weft extensions?

Using weft hair extensions with 100 percent Remy hair is always recommended, as it creates a more natural style that blends in with a client's hair. Since the extensions are made of real human hair, you can expect strength and durability, a stunning shine and a soft and sleek appearance. While it can be more expensive than synthetic hair extensions, they are worth every penny, as they have not been chemically processed, nor will they cause scalp irritation.

How do I ensure I'm picking the right colour?

To ensure you're choosing the right colour extension, use the middle to the ends of your hair as a reference – not your roots. If you're still torn between two colours, opt for the lighter shade, as extensions can be dyed darker.

How many weft extensions will I need for a full head?

This will depend on the thickness desired by your client. However, we typically suggest applying 100g+ of weft hair extensions for a full head application.

Can I wear my hair up with weft hair extensions?

Yes, you are free to wear whatever style you desire with Jadore Hair Supplies' weft hair extensions. You can wear your hair down in a free-flowing style, or you can opt for putting your hair up into a ponytail or braid; the choice is yours. Clients will not have to worry about attachments being on show, as their natural hair disguises them.

Can I style my weft hair extensions?

Yes, you can curl, straighten, blow-dry and style your Remy clip-in extensions just as you would your natural hair. However, to preserve the quality and lifespan of your extensions, you should always use a heat protectant spray and stick to a lower heat setting. If you can, why not try out some heatless methods to style your extensions?

Can I swim with weft hair extensions?

Unlike temporary extension methods, such as clip-ins, you can swim at the beach or in the pool with your weft hair extensions on occasion. It is best to limit the exposure to salt water and chlorine and whilst swimming, you should ensure that your hair is either in a loose plait or left out as any other hairstyle can tangle the hair extensions. Before and after swimming, you should rinse your hair with cold water so that your hair does not soak up saltwater or chlorine. Additionally, you should always wash your extensions with an extension safe cleansing shampoo and deep conditioning treatment mask the night after swimming.

Can I change the colour of my weft hair extensions?

Yes, our weft hair extensions are made of 100 percent Remy human hair, meaning that you can colour them. If you are not a hair expert, we strongly suggest having your extensions coloured by a professional. Please keep in mind that hair extensions should never be bleached, as this can damage the integrity of the hair. The general rule is to only take your extensions two to three shades darker, never lighter.

What are the best ways to care for weft hair extensions?

Regular maintenance and care for your weft extensions will mean that they enjoy a longer life span and look beautiful for longer. You should brush them regularly to avoid knots and getting hair tangled. In addition, using a special hair extension shampoo and conditioner will ensure they stay clean and restore moisture to the hair. Hair oils and moisturising treatments are also great for avoiding split ends and damage to your weft hair extensions.

How do I know the extensions are high-grade Remy hair?

You will be able to see and feel the difference in our hair extensions, and you will find that, unlike low-grade non-Remy extensions, after wearing them for over three months, they will still be beautifully soft (provided you use the recommended products).

How long do weft hair extensions last?

If you care and maintain your weft hair extensions correctly, you can expect them to last for at least six to 12 months.

What products do you recommend I use with my extensions?

If you want your weft hair extensions to last for a long time, we recommend you use our specially formulated Jadore hair care products. You must avoid any products with sulphates, parabens and proteins, which can cause irreversible damage to your extensions.
